New novel has Shiloh 'walking the wire'

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 23, 2009 – Dawn breaks across the Illinois sky during the summer of 2009. It's 5 a.m. out in this prairie town and soon novelist D.L. Shiloh hits the computer to work on his second novel. It's as if he's making up for lost time. That's because Shiloh took 17 years to complete "Pookoo", a satire about celebrity obsession. The novel is now available at Amazon.com.
The new novel was started in May. "It (the new book) is 50% done. I know where it's going," Shiloh said.
The new book may be darker than "Pookoo," which is a feat since "Pookoo" is about unemployment, divorce, sex, suicide, friendship and a mascot named Lenny the Lobster. "The things I'm bringing up in this one have me walking the wire. It's dangerous territory. I like blurring the line of fact and fiction."
