Security Guard Robbed In Street

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 21, 2009 – The Security Guard, 42, had picked up money from the Blockbuster video store in Staple Tye Shopping Centre, Harlow, on Friday.
A man approached him from behind and grabbed the box and after a struggle a second man punched him in the head.
The victim fell to the ground, letting go of the box, and the two men escaped with a four figure sum of cash, according to police.
The robbers were described as black, aged in their late teens or early 20s, between 5ft 10in (1.77m) and 6ft (1.8m) and wearing dark hooded tops.
The security guard was shaken but uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
